Skin Sense and Beauty (SSAB) formally known as the Beauty Room, was born in 2019. Located within a friendly fitness centre in Sundon Park, Luton. Fiona's ethos has always been, The best experiences begin with the best service!
Fiona's career spans over 18 years and includes regional skin specialist, spa management and Level four clinical aesthetician. During Fiona's time as spa manager she was chosen to open Banntyne's flagship spa, arguably one of Fiona's proudest moments to date.
Fiona's professional career in the beauty and aesthetic industry began in 2002 whilst working for premium health and fitness spa, Holmes Place. It was then, Fiona decided skin care would be her main focus and joined the world renown International onboardspa's as a facialist.
At skin sense and beauty we understand the negative impact skin conditions may have on a persons day to day life and self confidence, treatment can sometimes be a long journey. In particular, conditions such as acne, hyperpigmentation and rosacea, improving skin health is the optimum goal and this is managed through consultation, homecare and specialist treatments. Regular educational videos on specific skin topics can also be found on SSAB's social media platforms.
The beauty industry is forever developing, changing and growing, with new trends, crazes, products and treatments each and every week. At Skin Sense and beauty, Fiona has handpicked the hand, feet and nail products from industry leading professionals. Hands and nails will be given TLC, to encourage strength and growth. To finish choose from O.P.I or Gel in a Bottle gel colour to add a pop of colour or keep it nude and sophisticated.
